In the summer, he received interest from Chelsea and Newcastle, but by then he had decided to join coach Vincent Kompany’s club.

Olise leaves Palace after a three-year stint at Selhurst Park, having signed on from Reading in July 2021.

During his tenure at Palace, he featured in 90 matches, finding the net on 16 occasions and contributing 25 assists.

Palace chairman Steve Parish expressed immense pride in Michael’s accomplishments at Crystal Palace, highlighting his significant growth as a player within the club.
