Highlights
OnePlus 11 5G, is a flagship smartphone that pushes the boundaries of innovation and performance. It may not cost as much as the top-level phones, but it’s not cheap either. The question is whether it is truly worth the price, the price, and what kind of value it offers. It was released in January 2023. OnePlus will deliver Android updates for four years (expected: Android 17) and security updates till January 2028. The device has a professional OnePlus look with a “helipad” design. It’s robust with Gorilla Glasses, a metal frame, and IP64 water resistance. The curved screen comes with a glossy finish for the green color and a matt finish for the black one. It has a decent hand grip and is comfortable for one-hand operation. A regular user can use it for 2-4 years, even in 2025.
The 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO3 Fluid AMOLED display on the OnePlus 11 exudes the premium quality expected in this price range, rivaling top-tier screens on the market. While its brightness levels are adequate, they could be improved. 120Hz refresh rate is there, but it may not feel that smooth. This is because the OxygenOS isn’t as lightweight as it used to be and this is a strong drawback of the OnePlus 11. Primary camera taken with the 64 MP are outstanding, boasting excellent sharpness, detail, and shadow detail. Colors are vibrant and well-balanced, with impressive dynamic range and pleasing white balance. Hasselblad filters add a nice touch to the camera features. The night mode captures ample light and detail, while portraits taken with the 2x optical zoom lens are remarkably impressive. However, the 32 MP telephoto lens is somewhat average for a flagship. device, and the 48 MP ultrawide lens, while usable, isn’t the best in its class. While the OnePlus 11 offers an option for 8K recording, stability is better achieved with 4K recording. Front-facing cameras with 16 MP are limited to Full HD resolution and lack the quality expected in this price range.
Charging time is less than an hour and you can expect 6 and half hours plus screen-on-time with the QHD+ resolution on. Performance is steady with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. You may feel a bit of a heating issue at the back for a long time gaming. But if you pause for a moment, it cools down pretty fast as well. Its sound quality is admirable. Overall, this is a complete package from OnePlus for long-term utilization. however, if you want strong priority on a high-grade selfie camera and a faster user interface experience, you can skip it and try an additional model.
